Gabriels Oboe was recorded live in October 2025 at the Toyota Stellenbosch Woordfees. The concert has been released in two sections — reflecting the live concert experience before interval and after interval.
Part I presents approximately 30 minutes of music and includes:

Shin — Arirang for Oboe and Strings
Salon Music returns to Woordfees following two successive years of sold-out performances, presenting a programme shaped by depth, clarity, and exceptional classical artistry from the Western Cape. At the centre stands a string orchestra drawn from the region’s finest young musicians, joined by internationally acclaimed Korean oboist Kyeong Ham, principal of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
The programme was curated by Willem Vogel, with Suzanne Martens leading as concertmaster. This collaboration reflects a meeting of Cape artistry and international excellence — a celebration of musical sovereignty, cultural exchange, and refined performance.
