Thanks to many years of collaboration with the Spanish embassy, Brooklyn Theatre has been fortunate to feature some excellent Spanish talent including singers, guitarists and pianists. Pablo Galdo is no exception.
He was born in Ferrol (La Coruña). He studied at the "Conservatorio Superior de Vigo", where he obtained an Honorary Degree and "Highest Grades Award", at the" University of Alcalá de Henares "" Institute "Zoltán Kodály de Kecskemét", "F. Liszt Academy of Budapest" "Mozarteum University of Salzburg", where he obtained his Postgraduate Diploma, and at the "ConservatoryTchaikovsky of Moscow ”.
Pablo is the artistic director at the Association of Classical Music of Galicia and founder and artistic director of the International Piano Competition “Ciudad de Vigo”. He is also the founder of “Online Piano Masterclass”, a platform that offers students from all over the world, the opportunity to take online classes with some of the best piano teachers in the world. He has recently been appointed artistic director of the International Contest of Ferrol.
He currently combines his concert activity with his teaching position at the "Superior Conservatory of Music of Coruña", at the "Centro Superior Katarina Gurska", and at the "Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio" in Madrid.
